N8\INSIDE was founded by Canadian-born Creative Director Nathan White in 2020. For nearly two decades, Nathan has honed his understanding of the built environment, from working on large scale property developments in Canada and the UK, to consulting on high end interior projects in Australia.
His knowledge is grounded in a Master of Science from the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment at University College London, and a Design Degree in Interior Environments from Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art. His expertise is driven by years of consulting for some of Australia’s top design houses including Jardan, Kira & Kira and Space Furniture. Based in Brisbane and working globally, Nathan offers interior design and art curation services.
Projects delivered by N8\INSIDE studio play on Nathan’s penchant for sharp spatial planning, and are enhanced by luxurious furniture, fixtures, lighting and art. In parallel to its interior design offering, the N8\INSIDE studio grants clients access to the in house collection of photographic art.
Nathan’s lifelong fascination with architecture, urbanism, repetition, and decay is exhibited in the studio’s collection of limited edition photographs. Taken with a handheld camera while navigating urban and sub-urban landscapes around the world, the collection embodies the beauty of everyday, ordinary moments.

This is achieved through thoughtful material selection, refined colour palettes, and attention to detail.
