PRINTING
Paper: When it comes to fine art prints on paper, N8\INSIDE only uses archival Epson Ultra Chrome Pro inks and museum-grade, acid-free, 300+gsm cotton rag paper.
Border: Each print is printed with a 60mm white border.
Certificate of Authenticity: All prints are hand numbered and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
FRAMING
All framed prints are framed in a high quality Shadow Box frame. Shadow Box frames include a spacer, which pushes the artwork to the back of the frame and keeps the glazing at the front of the frame, for a bespoke, modern look.
We use a 2cm wide and 4cm deep box frame of solid sustainably sourced timber, Australian made and acid-free. All of the backing boards and mat boards we use are acid-free. We avoid MDF or any other type of reconstituted materials.
GLAZING
Prints are dry-mounted with an acrylic glazing. Acrylic is shatter proof and lightweight, so it is a fantastic option for shipping and also installing into areas where safety s paramount. Being a plastic, it does scratch easier than glass, so care must be taken when cleaning.
SIZING
Print Sizes: There are a variety of print sizes to choose from. Image Size represents the size of the printed image. With the addition of the 60mm white border, all final print sizes are 120mm larger in height and width than the Image Size.
Framed Print Sizes: With inclusion of the 60mm border and frame, the final framed print size is approximately 150mm larger in height and width than the Image Size.
HANGING
Each frames print comes with aluminum mirror plates or similar hangers in place. Mirror plates offer a classic, robust fixing option that prevents easy removal of art from the wall. This method of hanging does not require hanging chords, which in applied would put pressure on the corners and damage the frame over time.
CARE
Regular cleaning of framed prints is not required. For periodic cleaning or to remove fingerprints apply a soft, lightly water dampened, lint-free cloth to the affected area only. Once the offending mark is removed, dry with another similar undampend cloth.
Dust with a soft feather duster as required.
Never hang your art in close proximity to sources of heating or cooling. Extreme variations in temperature could cause condensation to form inside the frame. Should the condensation come into contact with the photographic paper, it could damage the print.
