Hedges Avenue was designed to be a family home-away-from home. Soft colours of greens, pinks and apricot were layered with natural timber and stone furnishings made by Australian design house Jardan. Hand blown lighting by Gold Coast artisans Soktas completed the coastal Australian design. Convertible sleeping solutions were integrated throughout the home with trundle beds in bedrooms and a retreat nook off the main living space. Art curation was an integral part of the project. Existing pieces owned by the client were incorporated into the space, and new pieces added to grow the collection. The client was an admirer of artist Dina Broadhurst. N8\INSIDE liaised with the artist directly to commission a custom work for the space. Other photography used in the design was sourced based on meaningful places to the client.
