“Reflections at Night”, taken through one of the Roosevelt Hotel windows seen reflected in the neighbouring building, captures two icons of Hollywood nightlife. The famous sign marking the location of the once popular Cinegrill Cabaret, frequented by stars like Marilyn Monroe and Humphrey Bogart in the foreground and the rooftop Roosevelt Hotel sign glowing red in the LA night sky. Both are captured reflected or in reverse adding a trans dimensional note to the work as if getting a glimpse of a historic night out in Hollywood through the looking glass. This photo was one of the last of its kind to capture the raw original beauty of this enduring landmark before it was retrofitted for “new” Hollywood with an oh-so-fitting oversized LED screen, adding a less romantic glow to the night.

All prints and framed prints are made-to-order for you. Prints are printed on high-quality archival cotton rag fine art paper with a white border. Each print is limited edition certified and shipped rolled. Framed prints are Shadow Box frames with the print set back from the protective glazing.
Though some grain and blur may be present due to the unique properties of these works, all prints are reproduced at high resolution to reduce any irregularities. Imperfection in hand-held street photography is why we love it!
